A Healing Glance

Have you ever received a healing glance, where your eyes met the loving eyes of another? Could’ve been from a loved one, a stranger or a child...but something mysterious happened. The glance penetrated you. But something more than just that, it did some healing in you. Pondering on the power of the glance you realize it couldn’t just be from the person, something far more powerful was behind it. You realize this came from God and it went through the person’s heart than came through their eyes into yours. It then penetrated from your eyes into your heart and landed right on a wound in your heart. This blaze of love immersed itself right into the wound and mended the wound. It could be a wound from any type of different arrow. A wound from childhood of neglect, a wound of abandonment from losing a loved, or from a believed lie-that you just aren’t good enough. How can one glance make that much of a difference? How can one glance have that much power? How can that one glance mend a wound in a broken heart?

Because it came from God’s all-powerful and all-mighty love. God’s Love heals, it delivers, it pierces, it purifies, it saves and it sanctifies. So this day and every day, let us attach our heart to His heart. Let us attach our heart to Mary’s. So we can allow His miracle of love to work through our glances and to help heal all we may encounter.

"If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, ever part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each of of you is a part of it." 1Cor 12:25-26

"Love one another, bear with one another, and let charity guide you all your life. God will reward you as only He can."

Praying
Words of
Everyday Grace

Words are powerful!  God literally used words to create the Universe by speaking creation into existence.  In Genesis 1:3 God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. What a beautiful act of love! God uses this communication through the Holy Spirit to "speak" sanctity into us! To transform us from sin to holiness.

Graces are the supernatural gifts God gives us to help us gain eternal salvation.

When we surrender ourselves to God we can be led by these truths and be transformed to  become more like Jesus!
